Project Bezout.

G and S’s studio flat is their Parisian pied-à-terre. Frequently in Paris for their work as founders of luxury niche perfume brand ‘Plume Impression’, they wanted to make the most of the small space. We recommended separating the sleeping from the living space, and it being a garden flat we naturally focused on green as the dominant palette to bring the outside in. Sage green works well against black elements. Works involved breaking everything and re-doing all the plumbing, electricity, floor heating, flooring, dropped ceilings. We added precious storage. Furniture is functional and not overwhelming. Tricks were used like painting the headboard to save valuable centimeters in the small bedroom. A little nest, this apartment oozes tranquility.

All the works were conducted in the absence of the clients who are Dubai-based. Regular reports were sent, materials and finishes were approved remotely. We selected the furniture and textiles together. This apartment is destined to be a pied-à-terre.
